Step 5, Scratchboard Drawing For Clos des Jacobin Wine Label

Here is the finished illustration as it was incorporated into the new label design. I like it and apparently so did the client:

...Today I want to suggest you a new project with your inkart for a new client who appreciate your work.
I already made the rough with one of your element [the "element" is my illustration of an English gentleman] founded on your web site, and the client love it.
Please michael do you think that ???? dollars would be reasonable. ( if
those rough are free to use it)
What about this label ???? tell me.

So, just as the Clos des Jacobins project was finished, Claude proposed the use of two more of my illustrations for another wine product. The illustrations that Claude wanted to use were a front and a back view of an 1850s English Gentleman–see the label design here or see the English Gentleman illustrations here.
