Revisions
After the pencils were completed (4 versions) and scanned, I used Photoshop to make a presentation (a mini website) of the pencils by using the automated "Web Photo Gallery" feature. The presentation was then uploaded to my web server and a link to the pencil presentation emailed to Deborah. After reviewing the pencils, Deborah informed me by email:

Michael, these are exquisite in every way. I can't wait to send them to the client…We're meeting with the client tonight to get their feedback. If it requires another sketch, I'll advise them that it will cost a bit extra.

It was decided at the meeting that several aspects of the drawing needed to be changed. In order to clearly communicate the variety of changes to me, Deborah did a quick outline tracing along with notations to show how the drawing should be changed. She then made a PDF of her instructions and emailed it to me. I made a printout from the PDF and headed for the drawing board to make a new pencil.
