My dad's grandma Sopharona (Sanders) Halbert — Sopharona was married on 30 August 1885, to Jefferson Beauregard Halbert at Steelville, Missouri. They had 6 Children: Britz, Della, Leona, Fritz (my dad's father), Johnnie Earl and Harvey. She raised my dad, Noel, and his brother Woodrow and sisters Freda, and Pearl after my dad's mother (Mabel) died giving birth to the youngest child, Ganelle (sometimes called Polly). Ganelle, being a baby, was raised by an aunt in another town. Sophrona was born 10-12-1866, and died after the United States was well underway in WWII on 16 April 1943.
