My dad's grandpa, Jefferson Beauregard Halbert, who was born 18 October 1861, in Steelville, Missouri. Jefferson moved with his parents in 1876 to Texas, but after a few years and several moves he came back to Missouri and settled at the town of Palmer in the Harmony Township where he worked in farming. He Married Sophrona Sanders on 30 August 1885, at Crawford County, Missouri. They had 6 Children; Britz, Della, Leona, Fritz (my dad's father), Johnnie Earl and Harvey. Jefferson died on 4 July 1915, at Deacones Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
