Download a 1200ppi PDF of this illustration and print a portfolio sample (1 meg) from your desktop printer. The best print quality will be obtained by using a service provider; however, a 1200ppi laser printer or high resolution inkjet printer will give reasonable results.

This illustration was use in an in-house campaign by TWA (Trans World Airlines) to try and motivate its employees to a higher standard of performance. The oak tree represents the company as a whole and other illustrations such as a leaf bud, a single leaf, a cluster of leaves, a limb with leaves, and a cross section of a tree trunk represented the part employees play in the growth of the company. Apparently the campaign failed, because TWA went bust—Boom goes the dynamite!

This tree, along with several other illustrations, was also used in "The Purpose Driven Life," a book that has sold over 20 million copies and is still a best seller (as of July 2005).
