For the mountainous landscape, I was able to use part of a line illustration that I had previously done. I didn't have much time on this project, so anything to save time was welcome. The landscape was painted in and added to the border art, just like the bread, except this time the landscape layer is below the border. The order of layers at this stage is, from bottom up, white background, landscape, border and top layer, bread.
I did something a little different to the line art of the landscape. The line art of the mountains and the first tree line were selected, and a Gaussian blur applied, graduating from the most blur at the top to the least blur at the bottom.
