This illustration will be printed with a rather crude printing process , especially when compared with the printing you are familiar with in magazines (actually, flex-o is quite remarkable when you consider the surfaces it is printed on). The printing process totally dictates the way this illustration will be rendered. When line art is printed with flex-o printing the lines spread and bleed where lines cross. So, when preparing line art for flex-o printing, keep the lines slightly thinner and don't cross lines. As an example, notice the sample to your top left (original art). This represents the original art. Then notice the sample to your bottom left, this represents how the lines spread when printed with flex-o printing.
